Windows XP Home Edition Backup Utility

To Install the Windows XP Home Edition Backup utility:

  • Insert the XP Home Edition disc in the CD drive or DVD drive of the computer.

  • When the menu screen pops up, click on “Perform Additional Tasks” and then “Browse This CD”.

  • Click on the VALUEADD folder>MSFT folder>NTBACKUP folder> and then click on the ntbackup.msi file to start the installation.

  • When the Backup Wizard prompts you, click Finish.

  • Remove the disc.

  • To start the Backup utility, click START>RUN, type ntbackup.exe in the Run window and click OK.
